Billy Cobham is renowned for his collaborations with Miles Davis, including the landmark album 'Bitches Brew', and for his role in the ground-breaking band, the Mahavishnu Orchestra with John McLaughlin. Subsequently he has performed and recorded with all the jazz greats in a variety of contexts. His reputation as a fusion drummer is further strengthened by this recording with Culturemix, with its powerful jazz-rock elements as well as its more intimate, ethnic-coloured sounds.
